B.O.R.E.D. Brings Out Ren's Extreme Desperate-ness.
AHHHHHH. I'm real bored. There's this big part of me that can't wait for school to start next week!
But then again, there's still this part of me that wants the holidays to continue. So that I can hang out with my friends and stuff. Just one thing, I'm broke for the week >.<
So in order to kill time, I've been watching Digimon Adventures 02 for the past few days. The series is awesome! Maybe after that, I'll start watching another digimon series or maybe watch my power rangers again or something. Anything to kill time.

Oh and I'm so looking forward to saturday's sentosa outing!

And I'm so definitely watching this when it hits the cinema. Like today I know, I'll watch it next week. Maybe even twice. Thrice.

Teachers, Thank you.
I know this is very late, but nonetheless, since I have the time now, I would like to thank all my teachers for helping me achieve such great results for my O's.

English - Mrs Joanne Yeo
HAHA. Nemo, thanks for everything! Thanks for all the advice you have given throughout the year! Thanks for being a listening ear when I needed one! Although you've only been in school for only a year, you're one of the most awesomest teacher ok! Nemo, all the best for everything else and try to grow taller eh? :P

Maths and Add Maths - Mr Denis Leong
Yo,amongst all the teachers, I think you have known me the longest. I THINK. Anyways, I think without your constant pushing, someone like me can never be able to achieve dA1's for both maths and add maths. Its all thanks to the afternoon sessions and he extra effort you put in for us the students that we can do so well. Remember this. RATS ALWAYS KICK PANDA ASS!

Physics - Mr Steven Quay
Form teacher for 2 years! Thanks for everything! Especially the advice you have given for helping me choose my JC. I'm sure I won't regret my decision at all. Anyway, even though you always show that poker face of yours, I know that somewhere down there, you actually care for all your students:D At least I'm proud to say, I won't be leaving your lessons empty handed. I'll always remember what you taught us. ESAD.
And, smile more. We all look better when we smile. :)

Chemistry - Miss Sharon Chong
Hey Miss Chong thanks for everything as well! Damn it's gonna sound bad that I don't have anything much to say. But I've always enjoyed Chem lessons. Well, O's chem paper was TOO easy, that's why I scored a A2 only. But don't worry, I'll still be taking Chemistry in JC! (Uh I can't find any appropriate pictures for you so close one eye ok?:P)

History! - Miss Adeline Krishnan!
BLOODY HELL. History lessons have never been more fun. History wouldn't be history without you man! Your godlike talking speed, blatant scolding of us, has made History lessons in Cat High all the more AWESOME! I'm going to keep this short and sweet: Miss Krishnan, I've kicked ass in O's, I'm going to keep doing that for A's!

Social Studies - Mr Krishnan Pillay
Man Utd FTW. SS lessons were as fun as History ones. Thanks for always allowing us to take charge in class and start our own discussions instead of telling us everything. I'm sure that helped alot for our exams. Don't worry, Man Utd is gonna pwn ass!

Geography - Miss Elaine Goh
Hey I got A2 for my Combined Humanities finally! We're not gonna see F's anymore on my report card for Combined Humanities. Thanks for believing in 4-8 that we can deliver results when the time comes. Teaching us and having you as a teacher was definitely not a WOT. :D

So, the above is the awesome group of teachers that came together to teach an awesome group of boys. This group will forever be known as team 4-8'o9. Forever and ever. Team 4-8'o9, onwards!

And so...
... I've already submitted my JAE form. 1st choice is St. Andrews JC. Which leads to most people asking Why St. Andrews? I thought you aiming VJ?

Here's why. Last year, VJ's cut off point for arts is 5. From my results, even if I minus the 2 bonus points, I only reach a 6. Which would mean, chances of me getting in VJ is VERY VERY LOW. Near impossible. Sure I could take a gamble, but the stakes are very high. Cause if I don't get admitted to VJ, I might not be guaranteed that I'll get accepted into my second choice cause it depends on availability. Thus I decided to give up the gamble.

Sure I'll still be eligible for TJ. But TJ is freaking at BEDOK. And I happen to stay at ANG MO KIO. Travelling half the island to and fro JUST for school for the next 2 years is not a very appealing idea to me. So... bye TJ.

Which leaves me to the so called "second -tier" JC's. JCs like AJ, SA, NY.. You know. Out the al the choices, I actually went for most of the openhouses, and surprising, I found SA's environment really comfortable. Before the O's, I didnt even give SA a thought, but now, I'm actually quite enthu about going SA. Hah.

That done, I realised that I'm actually gonna start the next chapter of my life very soon. These past 4 years at Cat High has really been memorable. Yes, even from Sec 1. And obviously, stronger bonds were forged when I joined 3-8'08 and moved on to 4-8'09. 4-8'09 has been the best mix of people and teachers. Makes me wonder how am I going to get another class as awesome as this. (Ok I reckon I'll say this when I graduate next year from JC but I have to say this now). 4 years of wearing shorts flew past. But these 4 years have been filled with a lot of tears (of sorrow and joy), laughter and awesome-ness. Even then, I'm still be looking forward to new school life.

I know I mentioned in the previous post that I'll be doing dedicated posts, but I feel too lazy for it. Wait till I'm like bored to the bones before I do it eh. Well till then...

Let's Recap.
Like the title suggests, let's recap on the past few activities that happened.

29 Dec'09
Sentosa Outing with the robinsons gang!
We were supposed to meet at habourfront at 10...
but we ended up reaching siloso beach at only about... uh.. 1 plus?
Anyway the weather was nice, and we played around with the frisbees and the volleyball.
then we decided to play dodgeball.
first round was ok.. then during the second round, yvonne fell and had injured herself.
Well we attended to her, took her to first aid and stuff. It's been almost a week, hope you're better!
Then cedric and afnie came from ITE. The momen t ced came, it rained. So like damn sad.
Well then we just played in the rain for awhile, and then washed up and went back to vivo for dinner.
Since we're recapping, i'm just going to wish fhaizal HAPPY BIRTHDAY again. haha then we just fooled around, took photos and went home.

31 Dec'09
Countdown!
Yeap, went out to meet zong, irwin and yeungkai to countdown.
so we went marina, got seats and counted down.
The fireworks were spectacular, the best i've seen so far. or maybe cause it's been sometime since i saw some up close.
Then after that we went macs at heratland mall, and went to yeungkai's house.
After settling down, we watched this movie called "exorcism of emily rose". Quite and ok movie, though it was creepy.
After that we played cards for the whole night. And then morning came and I left home first.

3 Jan'10!
BBQ with primary school classmates!
So yea, we finally met up after god knows how long. It was nice to finally see everybody.
So we spent some time starting the fire.
Then we played truth or dare. When we realised, we got no 'truths' to ask. too long never see each other already.
so we changed it to dare or dare.
And we had quite a good time playing dares.
Then after that hitched a ride from prabu's bro and went home already. Some of the photos are on facebook. Guess I'll uplaod my share soon too.

4 Jan'10!
First day of school! Well not for me.
Went back to school to visit everybody and eat canteen food. I miss canteen food!
after that went to lan at dhoby and played around. and then i ended up at home. I just finished two rounds of TD with irwin. And i'm tired. Going back school tomorrow to help out with orientation. Such a great senior I am eh? :p

Ok so the next time I blog.. it shall be dedicated posts and my work experience!
Night!
